Fused Silica Applications
Fused silica sand, grains, flour and powder for refractory, investment casting, technical ceramics, EMC, resin filler, powder coating and engineered stone applications.
1. Fused Silica for Refractory Materials
Fused silica sand, grains and powder are used in refractory bricks, castables, kiln furniture and other high-temperature materials where low thermal expansion and thermal shock resistance are important.
Suitable grades and particle sizes can be selected according to refractory formulation and application conditions.
2. Fused Silica for Investment Casting
Fused silica flour and stucco can be used in ceramic shell systems for slurry, backup layers and shell building. It helps improve thermal shock resistance and can support easier shell removal after casting.
Common discussion points include flour fineness, stucco size, shell strength and removal performance.
3. Fused Silica for Technical, Honeycomb Ceramics,Crucible & rollers ect.
Fused silica is used in technical ceramic products such as crucibles, ceramic parts and high-temperature shapes. Its low thermal expansion, good thermal shock resistance and stable silica composition make it suitable for ceramic applications that require dimensional stability during heating and cooling.
Particle size distribution and purity can be discussed according to ceramic processing requirements.
4. Fused Silica for EMC / Resin Filler & Powder Coating
Fine fused silica powder can be used as an industrial filler in resin systems, EMC-related materials and powder coating applications where particle size control, purity and stable powder quality are important.
D10, D50, D90, conductivity, magnetic particles and low-radioactivity options can be discussed upon request.
